Subject:Re: Motion Sound
I'm sure there will be as many opinions as people
here, but my own experience was that the sound of the
KBR3-D was a little shrill for my taste. It would
have been perfect for me because I have other amp
needs as well, but I really disliked its tonality.
That coupled with its unwieldy shape and imblance
(rather front heavy) made it a no go for me. I
wasn't very enamored of the Pro3, but the combination
of 3t with Lo Pro is surprisingly good (not just good,
SURPRISINGLY good). Good enough that I kept that and
have just ordered covers for it. The lo-pro balances
out the kind of raspy mids and highs the 3t generates
on its own, and makes it come alive. I can make it
grind much harder than my real leslies at lower
volumes, and you can't complain about the size/weight
factor. That combi is a great set-up (kudos to Motion
Sound).
But...as always, INVIDIDUAL RESULTS MAY VARY.
