Subject:Re: Pre Amp on Speakeasy/Grind
Yes, I'm curious about this also: Is everyone looking
for more of the grind (or maybe GIRTH)factor that I'm
talking about all the time, and that's why they pre
their pre? I'm wondering if anyone has experimented
with gain boxes. Being a bassist as well, I'm very
fond of my Fultone BassDrive (my guitarist loves that
box too..I'm going to have to pry it out of his
equipment case today), and have been pondering the
wisdom of inserting it between the clone and the
preamp. Maybe that'll address my grind issue.
