Oh yes, and for a few more too ....

That said, one important advice folks: secure your gear from mains
current with at least a spike filter, or even better a UPS
(Uninterruptible Power Supply). You wouldn't believe how many electronic
instruments are broken by mains trouble.

Oh, you mean kinda like my living romm, where my SG lays across the
floor while I stumble over the keyboard's expression pedal? ......
