Apart from that, have you disconnected the Electro from the mains
since this happened. Quite often my TV satellite digibox locks up and
you can switch on an off as many times as you like, but it doesn't
fix the problem until you actually pull the plug from the mains, wait
a second or two, plug it back in then switch on, when it comes back
to full function.

Hope it's an easy fix for you. I've got an Electro and I'm not about
to sell my Viscount DB3 just in case.
