I bought the Korg two years ago to a local dealer,
wich I don't purchase from anymore. The owner and
manager of the shop seem to have more interest in
selling cheap rock guitar packs to the teens (that's
where they get most of their moeny from) than
supporting or even attending pros. Got tired of
waiting every time I went there, so I stopped going
there at all.
On the other hand, I got the electro from the former
clavia's Spanish distributor. They had some units in
stock on sale in their online shop. Of course, it
still has a warranty, but I suspect they won't be
nearly as efficient in dealing with the repair as the
actual distributor, since they don't deal with clavia
anymore. I'll call them tomorrow, but first I want to
hear what the clavia support guys have to say about
it.
Also, even in odds of very unlikely success, I still
wanna try reinstalling V2 software. Something's
telling me the unit won't be receiving it, but still I
wanna give it a try, as soon as I get this upgrader
downloaded again.
