I've had mine for roughly 3 years (don't know if it's
an early or later model) & I usually roll it with a
50# duffle, with cables & pedals in it, on top. Even
with that weight it's never had a problem with the
wood, even going over door jams or along sidewalks.
They're small (1.75"-2" ??) casters that I bought at
Home Depot & screwed on with 4 screws each wheel.
Could there be a problem? Sure, but I've never run
into it & I don't baby it rolling along. I haven't
ever dropped it, so I can't say what that would do,
but I'm guessing it wouldn't be good, so don't. 8^)
