Yes. I am using a VK-7.

The pedal tone generation happens inside the VK-7. The organ tone
is mixed internally with the pedal tone and sent to the same rotary
amp. I use a small (50W) subwoofer in addition to beef up the
bottom end which is fine for the gigs I do

Hammond C3 pedalboard with homemade MIDI interface. plugs into the
pedal MIDI port on the VK-7. VK-7 has two MIDI in ports, one for
pedals one for manuals, although in sequencer (OMNI-OFF) mode they
can be used for any function. Using a standard MIDI cable.
MIDI out port has soft thru for both ins (independently switchable),
so in a MIDI rig, everything can go through the VK-7 meaning that
other sounds (bass, strings, e-piano etc) can be played from the
pedalboard or any connected keyboard.

Pedalboard was pretty cheap as it was not in 100% working order.
Pedal interface cost about £100-150 to build.
