I agree with the above entirely. IMHO the old G4 is much over-rated.
It does have a good woody tone and fair amp distortion, and it's
great on chorale, but whizz it up to fast tremelo, and it just
doesn't work as a fast Leslie sim., being much more like a vibrato.
It's OK for those who mainly use a Leslie on stop/slow with a quick
fast Leslie flourish at the end of a song.

The new CX3 is an entirely different beast, and a stand-alone Korg
rotary today would be an excellent product.
