Subject:Re: New CX-3(ver 1 or 2), 1' persussion -'no steal' option Parm.?

As a former XB2 and XK2 user, I too loved the no steal feature. As
evidenced by my user name, 888000008 is one of my favorites and I
liked to get the extra high end even with percussion. Since I
switched to the CX3, this is not possible in normal mode. However,
in EX mode (as Bruce indicates), it is possible to replicate the no
steal sound very precisely.

Simply go to EX mode, enable the live drawbars, and set up
8880000000008 and then dial in whichever percussion drawbar sounds
good to you. It works well. My only problem is that I often times
TOTALLY FORGET about the EX mode when I get to a gig. Something
about the adrenalin and so forth and I have barely ever remembered
that I have that somewhat unorthodox option available to me!

Eric
