Subject:RE: amps

I don't have the receipt in front of me but I believe the amp cost me around
$700-something. This would be back around the end of 2000. I had just gone
through a divorce prior to that purchase and.... sheesh... that seemed at
the time, to me, like a lot of bread to lay out at the time for an amp ;-)
I had tried the Roland & Peavey brands as well. Admittedly, I never got to
try out the Mackie. Like I said, I'm pretty happy with my current setup.
That's not to say that if the amp died tomorrow, I wouldn't at least check
out whatever the latest and greatest competing amps might be available at
the time- including the Mackies before making a decision.
