If you play pedals go with JBL EON 15 G2s. If not then I would go
for the SRM450.
With the EONs, in exchange for slightly less accuracy in overall
response, bass goes down about 20Hz lower than the SRM450. Also, to
my ears the SRM450 seems to be slightly boosted around the 100Hz
area to cover for this lack of deep bass which is not an issue with
the EON.
To go into yet more irrelevant detail...
If you are using LH bass on the other hand, then theoretically the
effect of mixing the 5 1/3' drawbar with the folded back 16' drawbar
in the bottom octave of the manuals should give a resultant
(difference tone) at the same pitch as the 16' pedal drawbar meaning
you need the lower frequency response.
However, in my experience the pedals still seem to go a lot deeper
because
- they use real 16' tonewheels (that aren't used for the manuals)
- the folded back tones on the manuals in any case are at half the
volume of the next octave above
so you I don't think you really notice with an SRM450 if you play LH
bass.
