Subject:RE: CX-3 v 2.0 upgrade requirements
Hi David,
I can't comment on the Fastlane device. I've only owned a few PC-to-MIDI interfaces in my life, and for unrelated reasons, most of them have been Midiman. I now have two of the Midiman 2x2 units. (The other company I've owned is Opcode, but they're out of business.) I'm actually not a huge fan of Midiman interfaces, as they have a hardware incompatibility with some of the line-powered MIDI Solutions devices that I sell on my site. However, they are cheap -- but not TOO cheap -- and they have worked well for me during the CX-3 upgrades. I can't guarantee you will have the same results; just take it as one user's experiences. Your mileage, as they say, may vary.
Regards,
-BW
