I advise against barbettas. I have 2 31C's and they never met
expectations-- fine for piano, but w/synth and organ sounds both are
useless due to thermal shutdown and cabinet buzzing and resonances.
Not something I expected after plunking down lots of cash for the
pair.

I've been using both as vocal monitors on about 1-2 shows per month
w/o venue PA but now one has developed problems with an input pot.
Unfortunately the control panel is sealed so it will be a tough fix.

Now I use a leslie and 4x6L6 amp through a 1x12... together they cost
less then the barbettas...
