Thanks for the details, Bruce. I got the impression that programs and global
settings will remain unchanged, that is, ignoring whatever test program is
sent. So I won't have to rework my patches and it will default all
parameters to the correct v2 options?

And then of course, the question everyone wants to know - does it sound
different and hopefully better?
