Subject:CX-3 V 2 OS - response from Korgusa

I wrote an email to Korg USA requesting comment about the CX-3 V2
software and how it related to an instrument that I tried at my local
dealer. Here is the response from Ian Fisher (ianf@korgusa.com). He
is saying that it HAS NOT shipped yet. Interesting !

When I pressed the on and display buttons, the boot up display
indicated "Main 2.00 Sub 1.00" -Bob

There are no version 2 CX-3's that have shipped currently, so all of
the CX-3's out now are original. The O.S. will be available soon and
will be able to be loaded into the current CX-3's through MIDI.

How can I determine the operating system version of the Korg CX-3
that I tried at a dealer today.
The dealer didn't know. Is it V1 or V2?

When will the V2 upgrade patch be available to download for current
V1 owners?
