Subject:Re: Prep your live rig amps & tube preamp
Hi All
Ed Fliege is 100% on the mark. I just changed my whole rig over to a Motion
Sound & a Custom stereo tube preamp. The only way is to set the rig up at
home
first. I have found if you do not. The unknown surprises will kick you right
in the butt. I use a Alesis QSR Midi to the Hammond XB5. The synth is
powered with a tube preamp to a Peavey Cs200 & SP5 cabinet. The rig is very
easy to move. Heck I was so taken with the Motion Sound. I will retire my
145 Leslie forever. I will however change the speaker in the Low-Pro to a
Peavey Scorpion Plus 12".
