Hey Jude...
I've seen David Sancious play a number of times, and
he's a big proponent of software-based rigs. Using
his Peavey C8 controller, with Sting he used B4
software direct. With Eric Clapton, he ran B4 into a
147 built into a flight case with mics inside. The
front door came off (or the backdoor, depending on
your perspective) so you could hear/access the horns
and amplifier. Sounded way cool. Billy Preston was
on that gig as well, and I had a hard time telling the
B4 from the real B3!!!
