i repeat my enthusiasm with the Behringer FCB-1010... i have the second
expression pedal programmed to control leslie speed... now i can keep
playing, but use the leslie as often as i want (i change speeds
*constantly*), with no threat of damage to the motors... :)

I concur with Ed's comments on missing MOD wheels. Several months ago I
was in the market for a MIDI keyboard for use with the B4 software, and
considered using one of several Roland synths and controllers. In
particular, I wanted something with a MOD wheel because B4's Leslie speed
can be controlled by it.

But most of Roland's current crop only have this combination MOD/Pitch
Bend lever thingee that has only one at-rest position. This means I have
to hold that lever up with my left had to keep the Leslie running fast.
So I ended up with a used Roland A70, which has a MOD wheel, a Pitch-Bend
wheel, AND one of those combination thingees. And I was able to add an
expansion board that turned it into a synth as well.

Does this stuff bother anyone else?
