I'm using a V5 through a Pro 3T without a low pro (run
the low directly into the PA, a very nice set of Mackies).

What exactly will the Speakeasy add to my sound? My setup
sounds very nice as is, with the Pro 3T providing distortion
as needed. Is any improvement worth the ~$400 they're asking
for the vintage preamp?

I have a Blue Tube, but haven't used it more than a handful
of times because all it seems to add is a "frying eggs"
distortion which doesn't do much for me.
