Subject:Original BX-3...

Hey,
I have an original (analog) BX-3 that I keep at home in my music
room. I run it through a H&K Tube Rotosphere and it kicks
major "arse". I used to use an XB-2 w/an EV FX70 out live performing
with my classic rock band. It started to fade out with me because it
never really had any "balls". So I purchased the new CX-3 thinking
that it would kill two birds with one stone, thus replacing the XB-2
and rack mount simulation. I have to say that I really like the sound
of the CX-3 and hope that the upgrade improves it but it still
doesn't blow me away the way the BX-3 and Rotosphere do. I can't seem
to be happy with the onboard Leslie and I've tried some of the
suggestions listed here, maybe I'm missing something?? I was
wondering if anyone else out here is having the same feelings, don't
get me wrong the CX-3 sounds awesome it just feels like it's missing
something in the drawbar area and leslie. I do think I'll be adding a
tube preamp just to warm it up a bit, does anyone else have any
suggestions?
