Most of the newer clones have vibrato-chorus emulation, and some of them -- including the CX-3 that I own -- do a very nice job of mimicking the original sound. It's harder to recreate that effect than it might seem: The scanner vibrato was made using the latest in late-1940's technology, which doesn't map all the well to 1990's or 2000's technology. I used to use an Alesis Quadraverb2 with my v3; the effects box's sole purpose was to provide scanner-like vibrato and a bit of reverb, and 70-75% of the horsepower was spent on the vibrato!
