Bruce Wahler makes some excellent points about post writing on the forum. He's also able to offer constructive feedback to us all without offending or belittling.

As a digest reader myself, I know what he means about original attachments being strung down the line at nauseam.

In fact, since I converted from standard to digest email, I don't know how to reply to ONE person's message in the package, without addresing the WHOLE installment of that particular digest. Plus it probably gets confusing for others, so I don't even try anymore. I just start a fresh email and title the topic and name the person I'm directing my comments to, right from the get-go. Then there's no doubt what my goals are.

I believe this makes easier reading for everyone.
