I started a thread like this about a month ago. I had in invisible
stand but wanted something that didn't break down into as many parts
and was easier to set up. I ended up getting a quik lock 2 tier, I
think the model is 642 or something like that. All I can say is this
thing is like a tank. Absolutley no bounce, and I'm a big guy and
play with some passion, so I need a sturdy stand. I can do dips on
it, and I'm 250lbs so it's strong! I was not expecting it to be this
nice. A local store had them so I could see it first hand instead of
ordering blind from the net. It's heavier than either of my boards,
the top tier is adjustable enough so I can get my top board nice and
close to the bottom one, and the little bit of tilt I have on it
makes it easier to get to the controls than the invisible stand. The
bottom struts go out beyond the top tiers in either direction so
there's no way it will tip over. I'm really happy with it. The
invisible has a nice place in my little studio area now. I posted a
pic last night in on the site here. You can barely make it out
because my single tier x stand is in front with my electro on it.
