Yes, they are bass-heavy. I use mine with a Motion Sound Pro-3T, and when
properly balanced the KC-500 provides *plenty* of bottom end for the lower
rotor sim (actually have to dial it back). I've been kinda disappointed with
the way it amplifies my Yamaha P-80 without EQ intervention; just not crisp
enough, too boomy in the mids. But EQ'ing cures many ills.
