Hey Derrick,
OHF is my own moniker which stands for, Old Hippie Fart. And
actually I'm totally into newbies joining the Hammond ranks, the younger the
better. Someone has to carry the torch when us old farts can't, or are gone.
HAMMOND playing is an art form and there ain't many of us in the total grand
scheme of things so I welcome any and all who'll help carry the torch. My
suggestion for you is to listen to "Lee Michaels Live" (in the studio). I'm
not sure why his name is not brought up more as far as "The Greats" are
discussed. Maybe because he blew out his ears with the screamingest organ
ever to be recorded. Made John Lord sound like he was playing a Farfisa. OHF
