I'm a drawbar guy too, and that really kind of turned
me off at first. I really think they could have done
us all a big favor if not by adding real drawbars
(which would have added to the weight and probably the
cost as that is an interface they don't use, unlike
their mini-scalloped buttons) then at least by putting
the interface section where it belongs: on the left
side of the keyboard.

However, after 2 or 3 gigs, I found myself more than
able to compensate for the foreignness of that control
section. And frankly, if it didn't sound so damn
good, I would even be bothering with it....but the
chorus/vibrato on this thing is just KILLING ME! I
never used it on the Voce (useless), had only recently
started to use it on the XK2(and very very sparingly
at that) and could never use it on the XM1 (which is
strange because they're supposed to be the same
engine, but they didn't sound the same to me) and it
was almost too pretty on the CX3.

Like I said before, I think there are a couple spots
where the low end could use a bump (but again, 2 b3
playing soundmen told me that from where they were, it
was the most realistic and most even across the
spectrum sound they'd heard in a clone EVER), but that
may be because I'm used to the XK2 and the XM1 (which
combined I've used for about 5/6 years).

I can deal with the buttons but I could deal with them
with more of a smile if they were on the left. As for
the leds, it's nice to be able to see what your
drawbar settings are, but you did have that with the
XK2, although the larger visual bandwidth is a plus.

Now, if they would only send me one that is not
damaged in shipping, I would be very very pleased
indeed.
