I use a Rotosphere to replace the in module Spin of the VOCE V-3. H and K
is a reasonable facsimile of the rotating cabinet. In your situation, I
would actually try several of them before I selected.

During my selection process, I heard two different ones in two different
sales venues thru my amp and I think I heard a difference, taking in obvious
differences in sonic signatures of the audition rooms. Avoid buying a box
with a unit inside, un-auditioned.

I use Rotosphere mostly because it is totally electronic, mono can become a
simulated stereo in the H and K and is in-line with the rest of the band
during rehearsals into a practice headphone amp and DAT system. Drums and
all other instruments are electronic because "One man's ceiling is another
man's floor."

The Drive and Output settings on the H and K seem related, but perform
different functions. The drive "crunch" is more digital than I am
comfortable with. But inline with the Speakeasy PreAmp during the recent
Clone Cook off in Mid-Atlantic US, the crunch was attenuated and the
distortion of the PreAmp gave a more tube like final output.

There is a tube in the Rotosphere. It glows and does it's "tube-like" best
to be a tube device, but ...

And Speed up and Slow down are not exactly where I'd like them. I'd prefer
a quick up speed and a longer period spin down to the slow speed, but the
other features. like weight of unit, are important factors for me as well.
