Subject:Re: Dynacord on eBay
I've got the white ( very rare ? ) CLS222, I don't think that the
color had any bearing on performance. I believe the black version was
brought out to match other items in Dynacord's range at the time. My
CLS has the genuine foot-switch and it is the same as the e'pic on
ebay.
No LEDs on the footswitch, only on the fascia of the rack-unit; the
footswitch is a passive device with simple switches like guitar
effects pedals, so any latching switches will suffice, but to control
both the slow/fast and stop, two independent switches are required
wired to a stereo jack plug, tip/ring for the two controls.
The CLS is a great simulator and a very worthwhile purchase at used
prices. User reviews at Harmony Central all give the CLS222 10 out of
10 for simulation.
They used to retail at just shy of $1000, £768UK.
Regards, Thomas.
P.S. I usually spell color, colour. This is just an odd thing we do
this side of the pond.
