Subject:KBR3D

On rehearsal days I can't muster the muscle to move my Leslie 122, I play my
XK2 through a KBR3D.

I would describe the sound as adequate, not as good as the 122, and much
improved with the Speakeasy preamp to improve the tone. I still get what I
would describe as a "bassy overtone" when the unit is played relatively
loudly and when the rotors are spinning fast. I think I will be able to
reduce this problem using a 31 band EQ, which I haven't had time to fiddle
with yet (my PA has one that I need to hook up and try out).

All in all, it is for me a good practice amp, but until I solve the overtone
problem, not something I would gig with.
