I used to hate that about my Leslie 145. Than I got a Yamaha RA-70, and that wasn't much louder. It would be that I couldn't be heard or I would mic them through the PA and get the roaring sound of the wind from the rotors. Now I use a Fender KXR-200 with 200 watts RMS. I play with a couple of loud guitar players with Twin Reverbs, and I've never had to turn the KXR over half. And, I still have a ton of reserve volume on the instruments. The VK-7 is massively loud through it, and it is so clean, I always add some of the VK's distortion to make it sound like I'm in a rock band! I have a Pro-3, but I've never used it in a live situation yet - it is just so easy to plug into the KXR and go!
