You'll find three nearly identical MP3's: 1) CX-3 through its own simulator, direct-to-PC recorded; 2) CX-3 through the simulator, into an ART Dual MP preamp, direct-recorded; and 3) CX-3 into a hot-rodded Leslie 251, mic'ed with three SM57's and then direct-recorded. All three samples are played via a MIDI recording I did in Cakewalk, so that there would be not playing variations to affect the perceived sound quality.

These recordings were done about a year ago. I can actually get all three samples to sound a bit better today, as I've played around with amp type and EQ settings some more, but they are still good representatives of what you'll hear.
