I think it's precisely because the church folk, especially down south, are shelling out so *much* for 25 - 45 year-old instruments that Ham-Suz sees an opportunity. $1,000 for an A-100? Yeah, that's what you and I would wanna pay. But take a look at the offerings at a place like vintageorgans.com. $4,750 for an A-100 with a 145 Leslie. $7,500 for a C3 with a 122. And so on. Point is, the "innocent church folk" (who aren't all so innocent, but that's another story) have been getting gouged in the secondary market for years. Who can blame Ham-Suz for wanting to see some o' that on their own bottom line?
