I remember reading an old review of the Hammond Organ that was originally published in some organ players journal in the '50's. The reviewer said that exact same thing, that a Hammond Organ had about as many 'sounds' as did the average electric organ (I think he said something like around 30). By this point in time, I'll bet almost every Hammond Organ (with tonewheels) has developed its own particular individual sound, which might make it impossible to duplicate any given organ even if you used the exact same settings. And, then you get into all the different kinds of Leslies and other amps, all with their own sound...
