Hi joe . this is MikeW. I find that with both the V5 and CX3, settings
varies on the Speakeasy Preamp. I like more of a more mellow type of b3 sound
so I use 12:00 for Volume but I use knotches three on treble and three on
bass for the CX3. For the V5 12:00 position for Volume but level 6 for treble
and 6 for the bass for the V5. that is why I like the V5 so much because it
is more midrange like an old b3. But I must say that the Cx3 has a sound that
can cut through the mix which i think some of the newer hammonds did. I have
the best of both worlds so to speak. MikeW.
