That's a useful tip to post to the general files section. I remember when I
was considering the XB2 (and I'm pretty certain the XK2 uses the same pedal)
adding in the $150 additional cost for the pedal. It's great if one can save
$100 by modifying the FC7 - which is a great pedal.

If the XK-2 uses the same wiring as the XB-2 (ie an 8-pin din) you
can rig up a Yamaha FC-7 to work with this instrument but with proper
loudness compensated expression. The input pin controls a voltage
controlled amplifier, with +15v and -15v available at the socket as
output. Let me know if anyone needs the exact pin-out of this socket.
