Hi Clonewheelers,

I just did my first gig with the new BX3
(setup w/leslie 142/Hamptone tube leslie preamp) I previously owned a
(new CX3) I have to say that it was the best experience I've ever had
with a clone. The waterfall keyboard has a great feel, the sound was
excellent, I forgot that I wasn't playing a Hammond. the BX3 has some
great new features and they make a big difference. It was a 2 band gig and I
got a lot compliments on the sound from everybody. The only thing I'm going
to add is A Speakeasy leslie Preamp to replace the Hamptone as I've heard
that it sounds much better, Anyway it sounded so good that I am considering
not using my '63 B3/147 on gigs anymore, I am as shocked writing this as you
probably are reading it. Anyways if anyone has any questions about the BX3
feel free. Actually my only gripe is the stand, putting it together is ok but
taking it apart alone is a b........! But I'll live with it at 72
lbs,(BX3) and the
whole setup fits into the back of my (mini)van.
