Good idea. Just remember that there are two classes of "power conditioner" boxes. The ones that cost between $70-125 (US street) are mainly surge suppressors -- they work more on spikes on the line from motors and generators, although that's a problem, too -- with little or no protection from brownouts. A real power conditioner will cost more than that. Unfortunately, the term power conditioner is another one like "output power" that has been twisted to suit the needs of low-end manufacturers.
