It sounds like you've tried everything I *would* have tried if I was in your
situation. (I've never owned a SPIN though) Short of trying every possible
MIDI in/out/thru combo, I suspect you may need a merge box of some kind.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I'm not a clone expert. There are many
here that are very adept at this type of hook-up. Your problem was well
written and I understand exactly what you wish to do...I just can't say for
certain how you should proceed.
