Hi Lon;
Sounds like a lovely experience. (VBG) I can't comment on the condensation
issues, although I know of a Synclavier user that had a similar problem. (A
Synclavier on the road?..not smart IMO)

I'm sure these 'gel' packs can be purchased at any camera or photography
store in your area. You may need to try your nearest Panavision outlet for
'industrial grade' applications. (Panavision supplies motion picture
cameras, lens, etc. to professional filmmakers) There are also numerous
on-line retailers that can probably assist you.
Oh yeah, when the Synclavier went south...their only option was to remove
all the stereo voice cards, spray them with an 'insta-freeze' type product,
and re-install them while in a shaded area. (The instrument case is
black..so it attracts heat the second it's exposed to sun.) The external
ABLE/DEC computers and Winchester drives were not affected...only the cards
in the instrument itself.
Hope this helps
Keep cool
Mark P.
