I had actually never heard the Painter before! Excellent 12 bar blues!

I saw Lee Michaels in a high school auditorium in the 60s. It was just him
on a grand piano and a drummer. One of the loudest shows I ever attended.
I've never been that impressed with his piano songs (a little too pop for
me) but his organ work on Stormy Monday is one of my all time favorite B3
pieces.

You mentioned Steve Winwood on Hendrix's Electric Ladyland. The Electric
Ladyland book by Hal Leonard has the complete transcript of Winwood's solo
on Voodoo Chile, even with Hendrix's "Go on Little Stevie" or whatever it
was he said.
