Yes. Yes. The Sons just had a live reunion CD out that kicks.
I remember being a stoned 17 year old hearing the band that started a set
with the biggist load of cacophony I've ever heard. I (and my high school
rock band friends) started to groan about having to sit through a set of
this. Suddenly the noise resolved into the most powerful version of
Eleanor Rigby I've ever heard, and we were floored. Spine tingling, peak
musical experience for me.
