Subject:RE: RS-147

Hey there Thomas,
There's a MS R3-147 on Harmony Central right now that you might be able to
snag. They're asking $450 USD, which is a pretty fair price. The R3-147 is
a little heavy, but I don't think the shipping would be prohibitive. And
even though it's 3 more whole rack spaces bigger, I bet you'd sell your
CLS222 after you played through a R3-147. IMO, the bass simulation in the
R3-147 is better than the Pro-3T.
Just so you know, after I got my CX-3 I sold my R3-147, coincidentally to
another CWSG member, Galen Reddin and he's thrilled with it (as was I). The
simulation on the CX-3 is so close that being able to eliminate an extra
four spaces out of my live rig without sacrificing my sound was a big deal
to me. But if memory serves, you're mostly a home-bound player and lugging
around a R3-147 shouldn't be a problem. Here's the link and good luck:

If this doesn't work go to www.harmonycentral.com, and then to the
Classifieds, then type in < motion sound >. Also, here's the guys email:
