Get this: in my infancy, I saw a concert at the Hollywood Bowl which had

(1) John Mayall open, and then

(2) Lee Michaels with Frosty, and then
(3) Iron Butterfly.

Oddly enough, much of the audience was filing out during Butterfly (the main
act), but they were great!

Lee Michaels was out of this world (as far as I could tell given the sound at
the Bowl).
