Subject:More Hammond Influence......

Oh yeah. I forgot on my previous post to mention the guy who played
organ with the little known Bloodrock group (remember them?). And as
for these days, I enjoy hearing Paul Schafer when he gets a chance to
crank it up. I've never quite been able to reproduce the really
gurgly chorus & percussion sound he got on that opening jam for the
Letterman show. It almost makes me think it may have been a model D
or BC with two generators and that extra little drawbar in the
corner, but it had percussion also. Anybody tell me how he gets that
particular sound? And I agree with Winwood. He's DEFINITELY one of
my favorites. All this talk has made me anxious to get home from
work and FLOG the livin' daylights out of my living room B3 and
Leslie tonight, neighbors or no neighbors!
