Okay:

Keith Emerson - Not only for his unbelieveable playing technique and
composition skill. He was also the first player to make playing organ / keys
'cool'. Early ELP gigs were probably the most entertaining concerts during
that era. Perhaps a little grandiose, but that was quite fashionable back
then. The music speaks for itself.

Besides, anyone who travelled with a minmum 2 Hammonds, 4-8 Leslies, 8
Hiwatt power amp to drive 'em, PLUS the Moog system 55 and grand piano...is
certainly worth a listen.

Jon Lord - I like most of Purple's recorded work, but esp. "Made in Japan".
He came up with the baddest-ass Hammond sound in town...certainly the most
distorted. Also, a true pioneer.

Rick Wakeman - Superb technique and great sounds. Although, I was never a
huge fan of the band he played in. Investigate his solo albums if you can
find them. Some can be hard to find.
