Hey, I'm gonna jump in here because I've owned both rs-147 and Pro3t/lowpro
combo at one time or another.

I agree that the RS-147 is better than similators. But, to my ears, the
Pro3t/lowpro combo is a much more satisfying Leslie like experience when
you are playing. I admit, I don't know if that difference remains in a
recording or mic'd in a large PA to an audience. I will add that a number
of people have added kobitone mic elements to the insides of Motion Sound
Pro3t/lowpro combos with good results.

But the RS-147 is certainly a convenient solution. But then, a tweaked
CX-3's internal Leslie is also a convenient good sounding solution.
