They already did, but you have to buy a CX-3 to get it ;-) I used a G4 for
years (still keep one for a backup sim) and to my ears it sounds like Korg
reworked the G4 and stuck it in a CX-3. I don't know this for a fact, but
given how the sim in my CX-3 sounds and behaves it just seems like it. If
Korg were to put out a stand-alone Leslie sim with the same technology as
what's in the CX-3 I'd buy one in a heartbeat just to use for the gigs that
I don't want to lug my CX-3 to.

I had a similar situation. I always send a line to the mains and needed an
inline sim, so the Pro3-T wouldn't work for me. I went from a G4 to a
R3-147 and the only way I was finally able to let go of the R3-147 was that
the Leslie sim in the CX-3 was so good. To me the R3-147 is still as close
as it gets, but the sim in the CX-3 was close enough that I was happy to
gain the 4 rack spaces back (hard to believe I could complain that my
"Leslie" fit in 4 rack spaces. Sheesh, what a whiner I am). Bill, if your
Nazi corporate bandleader will allow a small rack somewhere in your setup I
highly recommend the R3-147.
