I have seen the VK8 on www.roland.co.uk. It looks like they have
changed the lay out of the control Knobs.The waterfall keys look
great.It has Vintage1,Vintage2,Clean settings, but does not appear to
have an LCD display.This would suggest to me that you cannot tweek
the parameters about as much as you can with the VK7 or CX3.
If the sound engine is the same as the VK7,I don't think the waterfall
keys will make up for the lack of tweekability.Of course I could be
wrong.But I don't seen how you are going to be able to change Rotor
speeds,Midi channels,Perc.and all the other things you can change on
the VK7.
