I agree Ed. I would also add the Kurzweil PC2 to the list, since it has the
same KB-3 mode. You have to use a toggle switch to get to eight drawbars
(only four sliders), but it has much more polyphony so you are able to use it
in a setup. The KB-3 mode on the 2500 and 2600 sucks up most of the
polyphony of the instrument so it is almost impossible to use it in a
multi-sound setup.
I do not care for the KB-3 sound as much as I like the CX-3, but when stage
space and/or load-on time is tight, there is an advantage to using only one
keyboard and no modules.
