Subject:Display upper DB
Thanks Bruce,
Now I know that it hasn't been doing this since I've had it since you
remember seeing the DB display flash when returning to the preset switch from
upper or lower switches. I can't seem to stop it from happening. I am
considering digging out the manual and going through it or reinitializing it.
However, I think that you would have known it it were a manual covered
application.
Its weird as I have changed only a half dozen programs slightly, the major
being your Leslie Sim setup when I bought the board.
As far as my two cents since I'm writing this, I liked the sound of the
Roland Vk7 very much but the 2 DB sets is what sold me on the Korg. With the
Voce, I always wanted a seperate DB set for each manual and when I got 2 of
them it turned into a MIDI hell. Obviously, the simulator is a bit better on
the Korg and my original CX3 from the 70's rode like iron. ( It never gave me
display problems!!!!!) :) Otherwise the Roland is a good sounding board in
my opinion. What I didn't care for was the price reduction. This hadn't
happened to me this drastically since the ENSONIQ days when they were
changing their keyboard line like you cahnge your socks!
If anyone else has seen this brief upper DB display when switching
upper/lower to preset switch can you please let me know?
Thank you!
Dean
